What is self storage and how does it work?

Renting a storage unit is a great solution to clear up some much-needed space at home or to hold much needed business items. All of our storage facilities offer clean, secure storage solutions at affordable prices.

How much does self storage cost?

What should I ask when comparison shopping?
  • What are the TOTAL move-in fees, including rent and when are they due? 
  • How much notice do I need to give prior to vacating?
Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?

Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials, and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.

What is the best way to pack a unit?

Larger and more infrequently used items should go in the back of the unit. Remember to keep a walkway in the center of your unit to more easily access items. Always keep items labeled and a list of items stored, even a photo on the outside of each box will allow you to "see" what's inside.

Because our family built Hunter Highway Self Storage from the ground up, we know every detail about the property and available storage units. 

We even store our belongings at the facility! Our drive-up storage units range in size from 5'x10' to 10'x30'. Our larger units can be used for enclosed RV and boat storage. We also offer secure outdoor parking spaces—with covered parking options coming in 2021. 

Our security features include 24/7 HD video surveillance, an automated security gate, 6-foot barb wire fencing, and ultra-bright LED lighting. We keep your belongings dry by ensuring that all downspouts from the gutters connect to our underground drainage system. 

We accept all major credit cards, don’t require security deposits, and offer online account management—including online bill pay and AutoPay.
